Dance as though no one is watching you,
Love as though you've never been hurt,
Sing as though no one can hear you,
Live as though heaven is on earth. |

Star light, star bright,

I wish I may I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

A mantra may be thought of as a tool to protect the mind. (man: mind; tra: tool, protect). They are recited by Buddhists and Hindus to engage and help realize the qualities of deities upon which they may meditate. At the centre is engraved a tripundra, the three stripes of ash painted on the forehead of the followers of Siva, symbols of the three bonds of the human soul: anava, karma and maya. A reminder of the temporary nature of the physical body and the urgency to strive for spiritual attainment and closeness to God. The red bindu at the centre of the tripundra is representative of the third eye. |

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts,
As we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil
for yours is the kingdom
and the power
and the glory forever.
Amen. |

What are you doing the rest of your life? North and South and East and West of your life. I have only one request for your life. That you spend it all with me. (An Academy Award nominated song from the film “Happy Ending”, 1969) |

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

The light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The Power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I am, God is!

Amazing Grace,
how sweet the sound,
That sav'd a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see. |

Sì, Mi chiamano Mimì,
ma il mio nome è Lucia.
La storia mia è breve:
a tela o a seta
ricamo in casa e fuori...
Son tranquilla e lieta
ed è mio svago
far gigli e rose.
Mi piaccion quelle cose
che han sì dolce malìa,
che parlano d'amor, di primavere,
di sogni e di chimere,
quelle cose che han nome poesia...
Lei m'intende? |

Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur Nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua,
sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo.

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace
where there is hatred let me sow love
where there is injury, pardon
where there is error, truth
where there is discord, harmony
where there is doubt, faith
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
and where there is sorrow, joy |

Love is patient, love is kind
it does not envy,it does not boast,
it is not proud.It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no records of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,always trusts,
always hopes,always perseveres. |

God grant me
the SERENITY to accept the things
I can not change;
the COURAGE
to change the things
I can; and
the WISDOM
to know
the difference. |
 |
 |
I bind to myself today
God's power to guide me,
God's might to uphold me,
God's wisdom to teach me,
God's eye to watch over me,
God's ear to hear me,
God's word to give me speech,
God's hand to guide me,
God's way to lie before me,
God's shield to shelter me,
God's host to secure me. |

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests
and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken. |

Padre Nuestro,
que estas en el cielo,
santificado sea tu nombre,
venga a
nosotros tu reino,
hagase tu voluntad
asi en la tierra como en el cielo.
Danos hoy nuestro par de cada dia,
y perdona nuestras ofensas
como nosotros perdonamos a los
que nos ofenden.
No nos dejes caer en la tentacion
y libranos del mal.
Amen |

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. |

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever, Amen

Ar nAthair ata ar neamh,
go naofar d'ainm;
Go dtaga do riocht;
Go ndeantar do thoil ar an
talamh mar a dheantar ar
neamh.
Ar n-aran laethuil tabhair
duinn inniu;
agus maith duinn ar bhfiacha,
mar a mhaithimidne dar
bhfeichiuna fein;
Agus na lig sinn i geathu,
ach saor sinn o olc. |
